We have a variety of volunteer opportunities at Wine Fest before, during and after the event. If you have enthusiasm by the bucketload, you’re a people person with a can-do attitude, a sense of fun and a desire to give back to our community, then welcome aboard!

10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Create silent auction display. Heavy lifting is not required. Creativity is a plus.


4:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Check-in volunteers and direct them to appropriate station.
8:00 p.m. – close 
Take turns manning the volunteer check-in table to be available for questions.


5:45 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Ticket Sales: Process ticket sales made on-site and check-in guests with pre-purchased or comp tickets. Requirements: Ideal volunteer will be friendly, outgoing, able to count change and use a credit card machine.

Wristbands: Place wristbands on guests after they have checked in at the ticket sales/check-in table.

9:15 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.
Auction Cashier: Process silent and live auction purchases. The silent auction closes at 9:30 p.m. and guests will begin paying for their items shortly thereafter. You will process the sale and give them paperwork to claim their auction item(s). Requirements: Ideal volunteer will be friendly, outgoing, able to count change and use a credit card machine.

A break will be provided between check-in and auction sales. Volunteers will return to the tables for auction sales.


5:45 p.m.  – 10:30 p.m./11:00pm
Auction Security: Secure silent auction tables.
Auction Closedown: Distribute silent auction items to winning bidders with paid receipts. Clear silent auction tables at end of the evening.
Requirements: Be able to stand for extended time. Breaks included.

5:45 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Ensure guests have proper wristbands for both VIP and General Admission entry. Give wine glasses to guests. VIP entry is 6:00 p.m. and General Admission entry is 7:00 p.m. Neither group can enter before that. 
Requirements: Must be friendly but assertive enough to keep unauthorized people out of ballroom.


ALL volunteers must be at least 21 years old.

Volunteer dress code: Volunteers are asked to wear business casual attire.

Ballroom entry for volunteers: Please note that only volunteers who are “on duty” will be allowed in the ballroom during VIP entry from 6 p.m. -7 p.m.

Breaks: All volunteers on shifts longer than 3 hours will be given a short break mid-way through their shift.

Volunteer check-in: Please check in at volunteer check-in at least 15 minutes before your shift starts.


Volunteer registration: Click on the volunteer registration button to register for a volunteer job. Please select the shift(s) that suit your schedule, and the job(s) for which you are physically capable.

Volunteer event enjoyment: This year Wine Fest will provide meals for volunteers in a specific room during the event. Volunteers are asked not to eat or drink in the ballroom before or during their shift. Volunteers who have finished their shift are welcome to enjoy the wine and food in the ballroom after turning in their volunteer ribbon.


VIP Admission: 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

General Admission: 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

Group Rate: Groups of 6 or more receive a $10 discount per ticket.
